If anyone had a plethora of reasons to succumb to offense, it would be sweet Jesus. The offenses hurled at Jesus couldn’t be measured on any scale; they were world-sized.

​Every promise we receive from God will be tested. Whether it’s a word you gleaned from the scriptures, a prophecy you received, a vision, a dream,or a conviction from the Holy Spirit.

If we had only one thing to guard, it must be our hearts. Our life’s triumphs and successes are churned from our hearts. Our failures, too, are hatched there.

Human hearts are only malleable in the hands of their creator. Only God knows how to meticulously unblock arteries and patch up leaky valves.

If I am brutally honest, I often entertained the thought that God would drop my knight in shining armour straight from heaven.

God wants us tethered to His statutes, leaving no wiggle room for deflection.

He asked Joshua not to veer off to the left or right.

He doesn’t want us tripping over his statutes. He wants us firmly established, grounded.
