God wants us tethered to His statutes, leaving no wiggle room for deflection.

He doesn’t want us tripping over his statutes. He wants us firmly established, grounded.

Yours is to stack up the lies against the truth nestled in God’s word. When he presents sickness, call out the lie and clutch onto the promise for divine health.

It’s unfortunate to be deceived by a random stranger, but isn’t it downright tragic for you to deceive yourself?

This world is temporary. Awfully, painstakingly temporary. One day Christ will return for His bride. Those who died in Him will rise first.The flurry of things that distract us, tainting our spiritual appetite, will grind to a thunderous halt.

Sometimes I have really good days. Days when I am walking in the Spirit and not languishing in the flesh…

Before God chastens us, He instructs us through His word. He handed us a life manual because He does not want us to prod in the dark, fumbling around, oblivious of His will.

But why the fierce tussle between the flesh and the spirit? Is there any respite for believers? It’s a tad comforting to realize that even THE Apostle Paul had to wrestle his flesh into submission.

When unresolved issues are left alone and swept under the rug, they don’t magically dissipate. They breed resentment and cause the marriage to fester. What’s more? It takes extra effort and time to resolve them and make amends.

Our time is a sacred yet finite resource from God. The clock is always ticking, and once time elapses, we cannot recoup it.
